In the Advanced Reporting designer, you can add data and visuals to reports, including charts, tables, images, lists, and more to express data in an engaging manner.

The toolbox in the designer offers several report elements and data regions you use to create a report. You can drag these elements from the toolbox and drop them into the design area. Each element in the toolbox has its own settings, which you can customize according to your requirements.

List of elements

The following table presents descriptions of report elements in the toolbox and links to their respective help articles.

Icon	Element name	Description
	TextBox	Add descriptive text to the report or to a container within the report. Refer to TextBox report element.
	CheckBox	Add interactive check boxes to the report or to a container within the report. Refer to CheckBox report element.
	Container	Group together other report controls in their own container. Refer to Container report element.
	Line	Add a line to the report or to a container within the report. Refer to Line report element.
	Shape	Add a shape to the report or to a container within the report. Refer to Shape report element
	Table of Contents	Insert a table of contents for easy navigation of your report. Refer to Table of Contents report element.
	Image	Add an image to the report or a container within the report. Refer to Image report element.
	List	Add a list of values, such as a list of devices in an organization, to a report. Refer to List report element
	Table	Add a table that can include dynamic information to the report. Refer to Table report element
	Tablix	Add a tablix, a combination of a table and a matrix, to a report. Refer to Tablix report element.
	Chart	Add a chart to visually interpret data to a report or report container. Refer to Chart report element.
