VSA 10 enables you to apply tags to your devices to help you easily sort and quickly locate them. You can view, create, and manage your instance's tags from the Tags page.
This article describes the page's layout and functions.Overview
Tags are custom attributes that you can apply to your managed devices to help categorize and sort them with enhanced granularity. You can tag your devices by location, role, customer name, or any other desired characteristic. When you conduct a search by tag, all matching endpoints with that tag will appear in your search results.
From the left navigation menu in VSA 10, navigate to Devices > Tags .
As you navigate, you'll see the following features and fields:

List pane | A list of all tags created for your VSA 10 instance, sorted alphabetically; click any tag to view its and manage its associated devices; move your mouse over the tag to reveal the following options:

Tag details pane | Surfaces the organizations, sites, agent groups, and devices associated with this tag; refer to Tag details pane for more information |

Clicking any tag surfaces extended information about the organizations, sites, agent groups, and devices associated with it in the details pane on the right side of the page. The device list is sorted alphabetically by organization. The information shown is as follows.

Managing tags
From the Tags page, you can create new tags or add devices to existing tags. Select a topic to continue.

To create a new tag, perform the following steps:
Click the + New button above the tag list.
An empty tag will appear at the top of the list. Assign the tag a unique name in the New Tag field.
The new tag will appear at the top of the list. Proceed to the Adding or removing tagged devices section of this article.

Adding tagged devices
To add a device to an existing tag, perform the following steps.
In the List pane, click the name of the tag that you'd like to manage.
The tag details pane opens. Click the Add a system field.
In the drop-down list that appears, click the name of the device you'd like to add to the tag.
The new device will appear in the list of devices and will immediately become searchable by the associated tag.
Removing tagged devices
To remove a device from a tag, perform the following steps.
In the List pane, click the name of the tag that you'd like to manage.
The tag details pane opens.
Move your mouse over the name of the device you'd like to remove.
Click the
icon. The device will be immediately removed from the tag.
