For each tenant, agents are programmed to automatically, randomly update within a 36 hour window following the release deployment. A device's agent version can be viewed and can be manually updated by navigating to Device Details > Software > Agent Version.

Key feature enhancements

Device card performance: Reduced load times

This release significantly reduces page load times when accessing the device card from the Device Management page.

Our intent is to address additional pages where the device card can be accessed in future releases.

Device card Registry Editor

The Registry Viewer command in the Manage section of the device details pane, introduced in update 10.21, has been updated with this release and is now called Registry Editor. This update adds the following new remote device management functions:

  • Search a device's registry for a specific hive or key.
  • Create, update, and delete registry keys and values.
  • Back up the entire registry or individual keys by export to a .reg file.
  • Import a registry backup from a .reg file.

The Registry Editor can be accessed from the Manage section of the device card for any online Windows devices. Selecting it will open a modal window containing the following elements:

Key Navigation (left pane): Manually navigate registry hives and keys. Hovering over a key displays contextual actions to rename or delete the key, create a new key or value, or export the key to a registry (.reg) file. On selecting a key, its full path will be displayed in the path box at the top of the page. You may copy the path to clipboard or paste a path directly to avoid manual navigation.

Navigation History: Displays the last 10 selected key paths (per technician) for quick re-navigation.

Values (right pane): Dsplays a paginated list of values within the selected key. Hover actions can be used to edit or delete values, with a New Value option in the upper-right corner of the pane.

Find box: Search the whole registry or a selected key or hive for a string value. A pop-up window will show how many matches are found, and Find Next can be used to navigate to each of them one by one. The Find Options gear icon can be used to select data types to search and optionally specify an exact match.

NOTE  Searching the entire registry may take up to a minute.

Backup: Import a registry (.reg) file to the device or export the whole registry or selected branch.

Cooper Copilot for workflows: Additional workflow triggers and PSA ticket actions

With this release, Cooper Copilot has been updated to allow users to easily create workflows with the Scheduled and Notification trigger types. In addition, it now supports creating workflows that work with your integrated PSA.

Features added to Cooper Copilot in this release include the following:

  •  Automatically create workflows with the Scheduled trigger type, which triggers workflows to run at a scheduled recurring interval.
  • Automatically create workflows with the Notification trigger type, which triggers workflows to run in response to a notification type you specify.
  • Automatically create workflows that will work with your integrated PSA (Autotask/BMS/Vorex/ConnectWise) to create and update tickets.

Enhanced notifications page

The Administration > Account > Notifications page has been enhanced for improved performance, easier navigation, and search/filter capabilities:

  • The page has been updated with a paginated data grid layout and an added search and filter function to quickly locate organizations and their sub-entities.
  • The All Organizations entity has been removed and replaced with a default Notification Severity drop-down selector in the a new Default Mapping Settings For All Context section at the top of the page. Changing this value will apply to all organizations and their sub-entities without an explicitly defined setting.
  • Reset All Overrides has replaced Reset to default. Selecting this option will restore all override settings at the organization and sub-entity level back to the default value.

MDM updates

Apps and Books connectors: Delete existing connectors

VSA 10 now lets technicians delete existing Apps and Books connectors to simplify and organize MDM connections.
