Before you can start protecting your managed devices with Bitdefender, you'll need to activate your license. To do so, perform the following steps:
Once you've activated your license, you'll be able to install the Bitdefender client on the endpoints you'd like to protect. Perform the following steps to do so:
In your VSA instance, navigate to Modules > Endpoint Protection > Agents Status.
Select Antivirus from the top navigation bar.
Use the Search by System field to filter the page to the device or devices you'd like to manage.
Click Actions > Install to activate Bitdefender to all eligible devices in the current view. To install it on an individual device, move your mouse over its list entry and click the icon that appears.
The Antivirus Install modal will open. Select Bitdefender from the Antivirus Engine drop-down menu and the customer company with which the license should be associated.
Select the add-on modules and core modules that should run during the device's scans.
Click Install. Bitdefender protection will become enabled for all of the devices you selected. To check the status of the ransomware policy on an individual device, proceed to the next section of this article.
With Bitdefender installed on a protected device, you'll be able to deploy several different actions to it via the device list at Modules > Endpoint Protection > Agents Status. To do so, perform the following steps:

Select Antivirus from the top navigation bar.
Use the Search by System field to filter the page to the device or devices you'd like to manage.
Move your mouse over any online Bitdefender-enabled device in the list or click the Actions menu to reveal the following features:
Feature name Definition Quick Scan Uses Bitdefender's in-the-cloud scanning to detect malware running in the system; typically takes less than a minute and requires minimal system resources; ignores files flagged as suspicious but not as malware Full Scan Comprehensively scans the entire endpoint for all types of malware; for more information, refer to Bitdefender's On-Demand article Uninstall Removes Bitdefender from the selected endpoint or endpoints Once you've deployed the action, it will attempt to execute immediately.
If Bitdefender detects a threat on a protected device, it will automatically attempt disinfection. If it is unable to disinfect the impacted object, it will quarantine it. In both cases, you'll receive an alert in the Notifications section of VSA 10's top navigation bar. You can also review the details of the threat at Modules > Endpoint Protection > Events > Active Threat . If the issue requires your direct intervention, you can use VSA 10's remote management tools to do so. For more information, refer to Controlling devices.
