Enabling User Chat

NAVIGATION  VSA 10 Agent > System > User Sessions > User Chat

User Chat empowers system administrators to engage on a live chat with any user session on the monitored computer. One or more administrators starts the chat session from the mobile client, and the user will notice a chat window on their desktop. During the chat session, the administrator has the option to close the chat thus disabling user’s message-sending ability.

NOTE  You must have VSA 10 User Agent enabled via Settings > Runtime in the VSA 10 Agent to use Screens View.

NOTE  More than one administrator can engage on a user chat at the same time.

Configuring User Chat via the User Sessions profile type

VSA 10 web application policy settings (if applied to the same device) will take precedence over the individual agent settings. Policies allow you to apply monitoring rules to multiple devices simultaneously. You can opt for policy settings to adopt the settings configured in the VSA 10 Agent by selecting the Use agent settings option for any setting in a profile.
