Enabling performance monitoring
NAVIGATION VSA 10 Agent > System > Network > Performance > Display ping response time to server
Performance monitoring gives you a hint on the ping of your monitored IP. This can help you understand if your network is being overloaded at that moment.
Enabling performance notifications
NAVIGATION VSA 10 Agent > Notifications > Performance
Performance notifications represent your current service performance: service downtime, free memory below required threshold, processor usage below or above normal values, or port is detected as closed.
NOTE You will be notified if a monitored service has Automatic startup type and is not started when VSA 10 service starts.
Configuring performance monitoring via the Network profile type
NAVIGATION VSA 10 > Profiles > Network (Monitoring) > Ping Response Time section
VSA 10 web application policy settings (if applied to the same device) will take precedence over the individual agent settings. Policies allow you to apply monitoring rules to multiple devices simultaneously. You can opt for policy settings to adopt the settings configured in the VSA 10 Agent by selecting the Use agent settings option for any setting in a profile.
