Enabling SSL certificate monitoring

NAVIGATION  VSA 10 Agent > System > Web > Certificates > Add

Using SSL certificate monitoring, you can keep track of your certificates on local and remote hosts and monitor any server you can connect to that uses SSL connection.

Once you click Add, fill in the following fields:

• Server Name (hostname of the server)
• Port (port of the service you wish to monitor)
  

You will be informed of the following scenarios:

• A certificate has expired, is no longer trusted (revoked), or has become invalid.
• A certificate will expire soon.
• The certificate is valid but does not secure the identify of the specified host.

Enabling notifications for SSL certificate monitoring

NAVIGATION  VSA 10 Agent > Notifications > Web

If you opted to monitor a website or SSL certificate, you can enable notifications for the following scenarios:

• A monitored SSL certificate has expired, or the expiration date is fewer than a configured number of days.

• A website becomes unavailable after a configured number of minutes.
